This copper based long life winterize will help prevent the multiplication of most types of algae for up to 3 months during the winter. This product is only suitable for use with chlorine, bromine and salt treated pools. Will treat up to 12,000 gallons of water Winterize

Product Application:

Test your pool/spa water to establish what the existing chemical level is in your water. For best results it is recommended that this product is not used until the pool water temperature drops to 10 degrees C. Shock your pool with Granular chlorine shock to achieve a chlorine level of between 5 and 10mg/l. Where possible allow the filtration system to run for at least 8 hours after the application to ensure the product is well distributed throughout the pool.

Granular Shock Product Specification:

Our Chlorine Shock Granules are manufactured with 65% available Chlorine and are completely soluble in water. Used for the shock chlorination of swimming pools and spas they kill bacteria enabling a safe bathing environment. These Chlorine Granules are a white granular solid 10-30mesh. It has a pH close to neutral (7) so that it will have little effect on the ph of the pool water.

Granular Shock Product Application:

Test your pool/spa water to establish what the existing chemical level is in your water. Shock or oxidizing procedures are recommended either weekly or fortnightly with a maximum of 10 mg/l (ppm) for a full shock. Pre-dissolve the granules and add to the pool/spa choosing a period when the pool is not in use, ideally the evening is considered the best time. Re-adjust the pH to between 7.2-7.6 for optimal bather comfort. Never mix pool chemicals together and always test the water with a reliable tester before use.
